Weather-thoughts
Apr. 4th, 2010 07:23 pmSome people are solar-powered, and I will admit, I have to gear up for winter and am often surprised at how good it feels to see the sun through the windows again. But me?
I love rain.
And today, after I looked at all the crap I'd cleared out of the kitchen with the help of the Awesome Mom, and was hauling out bins of recycling and armloads of junk bound for the garage, I got to walk back and forth in a gorgeous light thunderstorm, with the soft blue-grey and the low rumbles of thunder and the feel of the rain- my cat Whiskey came wailing in with his diamond-studded tuxedo on, and I petted him and listened to him complain. If I'd had a good reason and not had people waiting for me inside, I'd have gone for a walk in it ^^
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but thunderstorms excite me.
