Jetko Meme

Okay, folks- I got art I need to be doing, stories I'm working on but which aren't gelling, and some things have been said that are setting me off in a 'yeah, you're right!' direction.  SO.  What we have here, is a Jetko meme.  I get to work on one of my favorite pairings whilst trying to get more into their heads (Jet in particular is a slippery bugger), and we all get some hot starcrossed boy-love.  Or hate.  Whatever you like.

Give me a prompt, a sentence, a song, whatever; any AU/universe in progress you like, just so long as you keep to this restriction- no rape.

Two prompts per person, promise of one ficbit, standard not-very-fast warning applies.

I must echo Floranna's proposal. We can be a love gang! United by a twisted love for torturing fictional characters and internet connections!

More topically, I love this. I love the way drugged!Jet barely questions a pregnant person being someone's nephew, and him having no idea what to do with a pregnant Fire Nation thing healing up with him, in the same room with him and his need to tug Zuko's pigtails.

Oh, and the mention of the banns. *heart*

^^ Some things, you just need to be really stoned to accept.

Zuko: "Don't pull those."

Jet: *does so anyway, then yelps when said pigtail comes off in his hand*

Zuko: "I told you not to pull those."

(And don't get me wrong, torture is fun, but I like equal parts fluff and shatterglass ^^)

I like to torture characters to a point and then have them force things to turn out alright for themselves anyway.

After this is all done, Jet's going to try to convince himself this was all a hallucination. And Zuko can't wait for the birth to happen so he can get back into boy clothes... preferably armor... preferably with pointy bits he can stick into his annoying erstwhile roommate's stomach.

Yes, that's it exactly. That's what I love about Zuko, and other characters like him- they bear up, they come through. I like the storm before the calm^^

Zuko: "...oh good lord I'm going to be a *parent*-"

Jet: "You're not doing it in the woods with no food and soldiers looking to mop you up. Count your lucky stars." *starts to glower, then realizes Zuko's hyperventilating* "Okay, okay, stop panicking-!"

Then some of the time I feel like dragging them away, and feeding them soup, and protecting them. This is why all the characters in my head love me. Stockholm syndrome.

Zuko: "I refuse to specify which kind of parent." also "I'll stop panicking when you learn to shut up..."

Jet: "Oh that's nice!"

Just because the detail's in there at all, and that I can just imagine Jet's face when he saw them and realized that the Earth king was going to marry a Fire Nation *unintelligible curse word*.
