I'd intended to toss one of these out there someday, only to find I was not alone, and held off to enjoy the others^^  So- if it please you, toss me a pairing/person and a prompt, and I'll see what I can cook up.  Avatar fandom only, please, although if it's something I recognize I'll see what I can come up with.

Let's say two prompts per person, promise of one ficbit.

(Took a few liberties with this, hope you don’t mind…)

The princess is approaching her confinement, and it occurs to her that something’s not right. She takes it up with her attendant, because of course taking it up with her husband is not appropriate. He would call for her if she was needed.

“There will be a nursemaid, of course,” her odd maid says, all in green. The princess frowns, sure that wasn’t quite what she asked, but her day is full and her child is heavy, and if her gown is a little less well-filled than others, well, she’s a peace-bride, chosen for strong alliances and not for beauty.

There is no war in Ba Sing Se, and she is part of why.

There are some days, though, when she remembers- and she has gotten better at hiding it. Gotten better at hiding the sudden shock of feeling the life-spark burning in her, the shock of thinking I am a prince, and I should not be here, the thought that this is not my life and this is my life, I was bartered for peace but not this way…

I was bartered for domination because I am this way.

The child kicks inside herhim, and he rests his palms there. He is Prince Zuko, once Crown Prince, now declared defective and given as tenth wife to the Earth King. Something that was done quietly, in backroom deals and underground catacombs and for once, the plants don’t boil in their pots.

For once, he does not hear-think that she has been invited to Lake Laogai, and she is honored to accept.

She is the wife who will bring her child dominion over the Earth Kingdom. He is the father who will bring his child to safety-

-out of reach of either Fire or Earth.

The rebels are coming, water and air, and he knows exactly how to get their attention.

*wibbles* Why do I always feel compelled to stick an angst-ridden prompt into what's supposed to be crack? I love the way you showed his mind going from completely fogged to clear, and I hate to say this, but I'd love to see this continued, with Zuko getting the rebel's attention, and what happens when she slips back and forth into and out of her fugue state. Um, wow. Poor Zuko must be even more isolated than normal there.

And I'd love to know exactly how Zuko reacted to Azula pulling this one before they dragged him away and bent his mind.

Well, I'd love to see it, because I'm cruel that way) so prompt number one is how that goes down and how Azula gets the idea. And who she negotiates with, because somehow I can't see Kuei negotiating this one, or even, you know, not getting eaten by Azula, on his own.

It's a running gag on the Potions and Snitches website that I am the angst muse, and if you give me a crack or fluff prompt, not only will I play it straight, I will make it either deeply angsty or deeply creepy. Or both. I shall do the same in Avatar, I'm sure. My brain doesn't do happy.

prompt number two is Zuko escapes, what happens when he starts slipping again and how do the rebels deal with a pregnant guy?

Prompt three is the labor and the baby. Protective!Exhausted!Zuko.

I'm going on a car trip tomorrow, and won't have internet until I get to the hotel, so I might not reply back as promptly as normal.
