There's a radio show in my neck of the woods, called the Midnight Special- "Folk tunes and farce, show tunes and satire, madness and escape- folk music with a sense of humor." They've usually got an awesome mix of things.

No fair! We don't even get good stuff on public radio. I have to make do with my amazing ability to find liberal, feminist, anti-racist Country music (hard to do) and classic rock.

Once, I tuned to a channel hand heard Steve Goodman playing, and I thought it was the best radio frequency ever, and then found out I was picking up my mom's iPod from up the road. I was very sad.
