Okay, I'm giving it another shot- I've gotten past the first page of Girl Genius. Seems interesting so far, but mostly I'm going on kind of in spite of the characters as presented thus far, the pacing and storytelling, and some of the art. Hopefully things'll pick up even further shortly.

Edit- although I must say, so far I rather like the Jaegermonsters.
