weirdletAlso, in case I didn't mention it before- everyone go and watch Lost Girl! It's a Canadian TV show that's like a mashup of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Changeling and Vampire: the Masquerade- or, as I like to think of it, what you should watch if you were intrigued by Laurel K Hamilton's stated premises but appalled when attempting to read them. It's fantastic.
Sexy, funny, ass-kicking, dramatic without being overwrought. Our heroine Bo is a fae being, a succubus- on the run for most of her adult life, until she runs face-first into the actual underworld she should have been brought up in. Pushed to pick a side between Light and Dark Fae, she refuses- upsetting the game and carving an interesting little niche for herself.
