Icon-Meme Answer!

The premise- post the word 'icon' in a participating person's journal, they pick out six of your icons, and you get to blather about'em. I have a whopping five, but we'll make do^^


1. My current default. I always liked that quote from the comic, because it's just funny and so utterly Oddbit, and- although not necessarily in a gold-diggery way- so applicable to my life.

2. The base of the one above, which had been my default since time immemorial. I love ElfQuest, I love the trim, pretty elves- but I've always felt like the, ah, unconventional beauty was more my style. And Oddbit's just so fun. She's a beauty among her kind, she uses it to her advantage, and to hell with those who say nay.

3. One of the many that Suzukiblu made when I requested she do an icon based on Song and/or Jet and the song "All About Soul"- I still haven't had much cause to use it, but I glee over the fact that it and the others exist.

4. My stress/urge to kill rising icon. Gankutsuou has a plethora of pretty men and shiny costumes and twisted angst and while the scene itself where this comes from is nice and tense- I just gotta laugh at *headwall*, even as I'm generally on the verge of tearing my hair out and screaming when I use it.

5. Gearing Up, for those moments when you're having a montage before battle. I love those scenes, not only because they're often wonderful costume porn, but just the feel. Haven't used it much, but I do like it.
