Okay, when Princess Zuko (yes, princess) was banished, she was also pregnant. The scandal is that no-one knows who the father is and Zuko won't reveal him. Kids born out of wedlock are a great shame in Fire Nation and now Zuko must sail teh seas with a kid along. Who the father is, is up to you and you can choose how she got pregnant. (I mean, was it consensual or what...)
