Random Thought

I find I must disagree with the examples listed in TV Trope Wiki's "Everything Sounds Sexier in French" entry.  While the French version of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" is sweet and pretty and I could call it on-par romance-wise with the original, the options for "World's Greatest Criminal Mind" and "Matter of Pride" fall flat.  The German versions of both those songs certainly are full of spit and growls, but have a high-pitched hysterical edge that I do not find I am able to take seriously.  The French World's Greatest Criminal Mind, however, I find to be the more intimidating, mostly because Ratigan's voice is deeper and more sonorous.
