Potential things- something to do with the Ancients, someone finding old secrets of theirs and using versus burying them. Nobody wants the Ancients back, or to be ruled by them as they were a thousand years ago. Anyone who tries to take up their old power is going to either be a king, or be dogpiled by everyone and their mother to prevent such a thing from coming to pass.
