Cat Update
Cut for ick-some.
Got Strawberry the cat in to the vet with clear explanations that it would have to be paid in installments- vet said no problem, happens to a lot of people. She'll go in Friday to get the growth off, and in the meanwhile there's daily antibiotics and continuing to peroxide the festering mess is not a bad thing. Apparently it might not even have been one of the other cats biting her that started this off, it could have ulcerated on its own.
Something I *am* wondering is if it's possible the whole mess has simply been an abnormally solid abscess. It started out with just this tiny 'tail' under the skin, that I wondered at the time if someone had broken off a claw or a tooth in her, but there was no visible wound and nothing came of squeezing it. I suppose they'll find out and tell me after.
