So yeah, I have a thing for genderbending and genderblending, plus Marvel Norse gods and monsters.  And family drama, hoo boy, do I love that stuff.  This, once again, started as a mini-fill that got out of hand.  I have no idea where it ends or what to call it, but here 'tis for those that would enjoy it.

Fandom:  Marvel's Thor, Movieverse AU w/elements chucked in from the sides.

Genre:  Call it family drama

Title:  You're kidding, right?  I'll take suggestions.

Summary:  Based off a prompt on the Norsekink meme, in which Laufey leads a rebellion and fights Odin to a standstill.  The first thing demanded at the negotiation table?  The return of the Jotun-king's dearly wanted firstborn, Loki...

Fic Meme

So- at this very second, I'm going quietly mad finishing up late art for non-profit business. But! I am an impatient multitasker looking to bite off more than I can chew, and by morning I'll be free either way- and thus I should like to try this nifty 'meme' thing going around.

Because I'm new at this and looking to stretch, let's start with five slots, one per person. The fandom and theme- Avatar: the Last Airbender, Dragon Hatching AU- for reference, please see this fic. Anything you would like to see in or about this universe.

I'm not as fast as some other writers, so I can't promise they'll be immediately answered, but I will get to them.

Edit- As the art hath been finished, consider the earlier restriction lifted and feel free to prompt at will, so long as it be on topic.

*flail!*

Daddy's home, in much better shape, on big-gun antibiotics to treat the urinary tract infection that was two days away from killing him, and promising to go to the physical therapy I'd recommended some time back.  That's not why I'm flailing at this particular moment though- it's the finding of an absolutely stunning The Secret Garden/Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover fic that feels A) perfectly in character and B) pretty damn nifty so far.

Also- Firefly+Serenity=awesome.  Am converted from my heathen ways.

Crack.

I have been issued and formally charged with the duty of witnessing and watching the entirety of Firefly and its subsequent film, Serenity.  I have also poured myself perhaps the only wine I have ever found to have a tolerable lessening of rubbing-alcohol smell in a generous splash in some ice'n'orange juice, which is why I'm a little over-formal.

Gorramnit, I did not need a new addiction.  But twenty minutes in, and a whole lot of internet culture has just been explained to me.  That's been bothering me for *years*.  And one episode in, and I am flackin' *hooked*.

This is fifty times better than Buffy, which I always thought was kind of cute in idea but dull in execution (although I'm told I should hang in there until Spike.  Have a great fondness for well-written Spike.)

Again.  Oy...

Has this ever happened to anyone else?  You think of something from some long-ago bit of media you were never all that into but still liked, and then fall absolutely head over heels in fascination with some terribly minor character who never got much development, but what's there piques your brain?

I was thinking of Aladdin today, and the Mukhtar came to mind... )

Just- I know I can't be the only person this sort of thing happens to, with the sudden obssession over the truly obscure bits of fandom.  It's entirely uncharted territory, to my knowledge- no one else has put up a fanon on this anywhere I could see it- possibly I'm the only one who cares.

So here are the bits that have been in my head today...(be warned, it gets weird toward the end)- )
